20 Philosophical Quotes To Inspire You To Improve Your Life

Philosophy is a discipline I have found myself drawn to recently. I wish I had been drawn to it earlier.

There are countless teachings available to us in these timeless texts. They range from life and death, to relationships and politics. Philosophy is a discussion on what it means to be human and the implications of our humanity.

Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, these names roll off the tongue with ease, but how many of us know what they discussed and the ideas they formulated? I was one of these people, before my immersion in philosophy, they were merely names.

Now that I am more familiar with their work, it astounds how much knowledge there is and how relevant it is today. This is despite the texts being over 2,000 years old!

Knowledge is timeless, and while it can be difficult to sift through countless texts to acquire it, there are snippets which can provide us with immense value.

I have put together twenty of my favourite quotes by famous philosopher and thinkers that will help you take stock of where you are and where you want to be.
