I relate to this Sapir, especially the part about catastrophic thinking. I am prone to thinking this way.

Facing our fears is a necessity. We have a tendency to over-exaggerate them, and they end up taking control of us. We need to take back that control, and realise that most of what scares us is just in our minds.
