If we took this attitude to its logical endpoint, we'd ignore all problems because spotting them is mediocre. Why bother pointing out issues and trying to solve them if that process is mediocre?

Just an inane statement which fails to understand how progress works. Ironically, it's by spotting problems, pointing them out and working to resolve them.
