Thanks for sharing your story HB, I can relate to it in a lot of ways. I often thought I was better than a lot of people because I went to a “top 10” university in the UK. It was only when I started travelling and meeting people from different cross-sections of society that I realised this idea of intellectual superiority was wrong.

I liked the bit about the Chinese characters. I was unaware of that, I’ll be looking into that now you’ve brought it to my attention. Thanks for sharing! :)
