Thanks for the reply Mark. What I will say to this is that everyone is different. If you feel like reading 100 pages doesn’t work for you, that’s fine. What works for one person doesn’t work for everyone.

What I’m trying to show with this article is what Orwell showed with his article. That we have more time to read than we think and the notion of a lack of time isn’t true. The choice is up to the reader whether they want to read that much in one day, my idea was to prove that it was possible and not restrained by time, much like the poor workers during the war thought reading was beyond them due to cost.
